Snowboard Overview
Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival Snowboarding Competitions include the Snowboarding World Cup as well as the Whitelines Battle of Britain. Nowhere else in the UK will you witness this level of competitive snowboarding. Sure, we love to say we don’t care about comps, forget it, they all want to win this one!
The World Cup of Snowboarding Competition is only open to the very highest ranked snowboarders. Every nation is in attendance and you will not see better riding in this country. 2011 saw double corks as standard and with progression at, quite frankly, ridiculous levels its anyone’s guess as to what might be witnessed. Jani Korpi of Finland took the crown in 2011 followed by Seppe Smits from Belgium and Joris Ouwerkerk from the Netherlands. Come Saturday 27th October, who will be the Freeze World Cup Champion 2012????
The Whitelines Battle of Britain invites the top 16 British Snowboarders to show the rest of the World what they are made of. It is these guys that will be flying the flag for the UK in the years to come. Billy Morgan took top honours in 2011 and since then has taken the rest of the snowboarding community by storm. Google his Triple rodeo and you will see why. Relentless rider Dom Harrington came second and Lewis Courtier-Jones came third.
If you are a snowboard fan you don’t want to miss this. Go one better and buy one of our brand new Grand Stand seats. No better way to watch these mind blowing events.
