Relentless Energy Drink Freeze 2011 supports "Green" Mountain Related Travel!

 

In the run up to the mother of all UK Ski and Snowboard events on the 28th and 29th of October, Freeze Festival are encouraging people travelling to the event by road to think green and be a little eco conscious when making their way to and from Battersea Power Station.

 

"Our event promotes the art of Ski & Snowboarding. These are lifestyles that could be in danger of disappearing along with snow levels all over the world. We need to do what we can to reduce our negative impact on the world and indeed our mountain playgrounds!" - James Rodd - Freeze

 

Mountain Rideshare is a carpooling website that allowing like minded people all over the world to connect and fill spare seats in vehicles when taking part in mountain related journeys.

 

If you're travelling to, from or between mountain locations, you can post your journey details, find travel partners and share the ride. In turn you can save some money, do something positive for the mountains and maybe even make new friends who share your love for the hills.

 

The site is not just about ski resorts either! On a UK level, you can use the site to get to and from Snowdomes and dryslopes up and down the country.

 

The site now features an all new events area where organisers can post details about their events: Snowboard, Ski, bike, Climb and all things mountain.
